Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Intake Specialist to join our busy private psychotherapy practice. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the intake process, including scheduling new client appointments, conducting initial assessments, and coordinating with therapists to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

Responsibilities:

• Contact clients in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct initial assessments to gather information about client needs and goals
• Schedule new client appointments and manage therapist calendars
• Communicate with therapists to coordinate client care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Provide information about our services and answer questions about the intake process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
• Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
